March/April Issue is Available!

Click here to read the March/April issue. After much dawdling, the March/April issue is available online (PDF; link opens in new window), and printed copies should appear on May Day. With any luck, we'll be able to distribute them in the Hector P. Garcia Plaza at Texas A&M - Corpus Christi, which will coincide with an immigrant solidarity lunch put on by Dr. Christina Kirklighter.

The design for this issue is absolutely beautiful. We owe Candy BIG TIME for the effort she poured into this: She and I pieced the whole thing together in about 7 hours, finishing around midnight. There is an enormous difference between this issue and February's, and hopefully it will attract new writers and submissions to the fold.

AZS also deserves credit for the awesome cover image he drew. His drawing highlights a global problem with South Texan flair.

Let's try to get submissions in sooner next time, though. Anyway, feel free to throw the link to the new issue around.

March/April Delay

It seems that the March issue is running behind schedule, and that we will not have it completed until April. As as a result, we might have to collapse the two into a March-April issue.

First Issue is Out!

Our first issue has been out for a while now, and feedback of any sort would be great, even if it's just to point out typos. For those who are interested in contributing to the March issue (well, hopefully it'll be in March!), we've been trying to deal specifically with health and demography issues. Of course, any submissions in tune with the mission statement are fine by us.
